Svarteboka

Svarteboka is a concert with Unni Løvlid (vocal), Mariann Baudouin Lie (cello) and Henrik Koppen (light performance). It is a book full of musical  magic that explores and challenges the nature of truth and reality. 

Every composer has taken impulses from esoteric sources such as psalms, witch craft, black  books and poems. The composers are Lasse Thoresen, Lene Grenager, Jon Øivind Ness, Ole Henrik Moe, Sven Lyder Kahrs and Karin Rehnqvist.

In this project I contribute with video projections and light performances using materials such as flashlights, a mirror, water and glass. 

Svarteboka premiered in Rikscenen in Oslo in 2021 as a part of Ultimafestivalen. Svarteboka has later been showed in Bergen (2022) and Hamar (2023). In 2024 it will be shown in Stockholm, Trondheim and Reykjavik.
